Our ranches have a wonderful amount of Trophy Mule Deer bucks (no grizzlies and no wolves). This hunt will also be on private land with the use of 4wd vehicles. We hunt primarily on private ranches bordering or near national forest. You will have the opportunity at stocking and seeing some huge mountain mulies. With a little time and patience you will have a chance at harvesting a trophy mule deer. The mule deer season starts in September with a bow and will continue with rifle starting in October.
Over the years we have established an excellent record of harvesting Trophy Muley Bucks.
Over the last 5 year we have been harvesting bucks ranging 150 to 185 class.
We have a strong mule deer population that is growing. Tyler Sims Outfitting LLC works with landowners to help increase habitat and aggressive predator management to ensure future big bucks with a great population.
We take a very limited number of mule deer hunters. So if you are interested in hunting please call fast as these hunts book up fast.
How Your Deer Hunt Will Go
Eat breakfast before daylight. Following breakfast we will drive up to twenty miles on highway, county roads, or two tracks. We will then hunt 30 minutes before sunrise and after the morning is over and if the hunt is unsuccessful we will head back to the bunk house for mid day breakfast and lunch. We will allow the deer to stay in their beds for the mid part of the day. Mid afternoon we will head back out and set up before the deer start dropping into the meadows at night.
